The satin tip black was my go to brush for a while. It is still in my rotation. Tips are fairly soft and has enough backbone to lather triple mill soaps and give decent scrub to face. The scrub is not scritchy.

I think I have the white satin tip in my drawer. I haven't used it yet though.

for the price, I think they're worth trying out!

Hi I love my Satin Tip Black, its my favourite brush it lathers any type of soap and I like the feel of it on my face. I think it feel's silky & luxurious. I like the fact that its got a bit of backbone on it. I prefer it to my Stirling Kong. Highly recommend.

I just realized that I never came back and reviewed the brush once I got it. I have used it several times now and I have to say that I am very impressed. It holds water as well as my silver tip. The lather that it produces with both creams and soaps is just great. The only complaint I might have is the size of the handle. It is a little smaller than I would prefer but that is minor. Overall this is a great brush.

I also purchased my Satin tip from Handle Bar and I was very impressed with just how soft it is along with having a very nice backbone. It took me a bit to get used to not using so much water while lathering. Now, I can whip up as very nice lather and keep using the existing lather on the brush a couple of times. I'm still a fan of my Shaveway badger brush so I'll have to switch them up from time to time.
I did order the white Satin tip and next month, I will be getting the black Satin Tip.

I agree. The more I use it the more impressed I am with it. You're right when you say it is soft. It reminds me of one of my wife's makeup brushes but yet the backbone is equally good.

just took the knot out of my white one (used a dremel to remove the handle) to have it put into a new handle. really like these knots and i normally dont care for smaller knots.

That's exactly how I feel. I have the white one. Somebody asked me what I thought about it and my response was, "It's a $15 synthetic brush. Not great, but not terrible either."
