I purchased a Satin tip brush from Handlebar yesterday and was just wondering if any of you have one and what you think about it.

I have both the white and black. I love them. Before them I used omega boars. The white one is slightly softer. I've been using them exclusively for months now and they've preformed great.

Thanks, I have read other reviews on other sites and it seems to be that most like them. The only other synthetic I have is one from the Body Shop and if you have ever used one of those than you can believe me when I say they are terrible.

I have the black version Satin Tip and like it but I pretty much only use it for travel. I just like my Whipped Dog (Ubersoft) and Plisson knots better. I think it's the light handle though, because the knot on that Satin Tip brush is superb. I like heavier brushes is all.

I like the handles material. It's more grippy.
I just got a plisoft for Christmas and just ordered the striling brush. I think the satin tip may have started an addiction lol.

I tried the satin tip because so many of the YouTube people were using it and said it was really good. Only cost me $17 each

Actually you can, the Maggard Plisson type brushes and Razorock Plissoft brushes. The Satin Tip is still a great price, but no longer the cheapest option.

I like my Semogue Boar brushes but the Synthetics have me interested and I'm thinking about purchasing one of the Maggard Brushes. It's really hard not to considering the inexpensive price. And then I'ed have an excuse to buy another soap, cream, or aftershave balm.

I love my Satin Tip black! Smile I had been using a Parker Badger brush before that and wanted to try a synthetic and I picked it for its price at the time and good reviews it had been getting. Been liking synths ever since, even for bowl lathering Smile

The Plisson type knots are excellent and I highly recommend trying one. Whipped Dog/Ubersoft knots are also great, but for the price Maggard is charging for their Plisson type knots I would jump on that.
