Upcoming Releases

For those waiting on Autumn Cabin and Haunted Cabin they’re both in stock on Top of the Chain. Other stockists too I would think. Also available on the MacDuff site, although I think Haunted Cabin can be pre-ordered. Sean must have sent all of his supply out to his stockists. What a guy!

Yes I'm sold out except for one Autumn Cabin, but there is a potential I can make a few more if needed!  And I definitely send out 95 percent of my stock to stockists, they are my best customers!

Love the stockists!  I'm expecting Haunted Cabin from Carmine at Top of The Chain any time now. 

I shaved with the sample of Royal Earl Grey this morning.  I can't say enough about how good the v4 base is.  One of the very best for sure.  The scent of REG is nice and subtle - if youre looking for a pleasant way to start the day and not annoy any scentists you may work with, you can;'t go wrong with this one.  Thanks Sean.

I shaved with Haunted Cabin the past two morning. Excellent scent and a great lather. What I really liked was the post shave skin conditioning. 12 hours post shave and my skin felt smooth and very pliable. Haunted Cabin is a 10/10 soap in my den.

As with Autumn and Haunted Cabin I’ll be opening up pre-release orders on Saturday Nov 12, with deliveries to go out on the official release day.

If you are local to Edmonton, I might consider doing doorstep delivery next Tuesday so you won’t have to wait for the following week, or I might just delay doing local deliveries until the actual release date.

Candy Cane
Notes: Peppermint, Eucalyptus Dives, Blue Malle Eucalyptus, Musk, Vanilla, Benzoin, Tonka Bean, Cocoa

Our Candy Cane shave soap takes peppermint, cornmint and peppermint C02 extract, two varieties of eucalyptus essential oil and puts them under a base of rich vanilla, a touch of cocoa and deepened with hints of musk and tonka bean.


Bad Santa:
Notes: Spice, Cherry, Tobacco Leaf, Whisky, Vanilla, Vetiver, Nutmeg

Bad Santa melds tobacco leaf and whisky, with light notes of cherry wood, nutmeg and allspice, under a base of vanilla, vetiver and a hint of vanilla and spices. MSC's most popular scent after Autumn Cabin.


Christmas Cabin:
Notes: Cedar, Cardamom, Cashmere, Evergreen, Oud, Spice, Cocoa Butter, Patchouli, Santal, Musk


Christmas Cabin includes some of the expected notes you'd expect to see in a Christmas scent, but like the other Cabin scents, the goal is not a literal Christmas scent and instead goes for vibe. It's warm, buttery and inviting thanks to cashmere and cocoa butter; slightly spicy under the union of cardamom, allspice, nutmeg and cinnamon; all wrapped together under a complex base of cedarwood, patchouli, musk, santal and a hint of oud. Please note that the cinnamon content is low, well within IFRA and skin safety guidelines and is used to bring some sharpness to the top notes without becoming a "cinnamon scent".

Yeah baby, BAD SANTA!!!!!  My #1 favorite seasonal soap. Looking forward to the release of Christmas Cabin and Candy Cane too.

I already have plans to do Winter Cabin again in January.  Not sure about Spring Cabin as I still have stock, but we'll see!

Not sure why Spring Cabin hasn’t moved faster. I haven’t tried it, but you live in Alberta. Springtime can be the worst.
