Omg! That's embarrassing. Lol.

Fixed the original post, can't do much for the follow-up. Sorry moderators.

ORANGE CREAMSICLE
Orange, Satsuma Vanilla, Orange Blossom, Cream, Cardamom

A straight ahead citrus and vanilla combo with a hint of orange blossom and cardamom. While the vanilla is present, I didn’t want to make this scent overly sweet and it leans towards the orange and satsuma side! Dropping this Sunday June 6th at 12 pm MST.

Now for some bad news. Unfortunately this release was supposed to have 2 other scents: Summer Cabin (lime scent) and Raspberry Metheglin. However, we had a batch fail on us due to us using tallow from a new source and we weren’t happy with the quality. Thankfully our regular supplier had some more for us finally, but this put us behind a couple weeks on the release and we are forced to push back these scents to mid June, hopefully sometime in the week of the 13th.

SUMMER CABIN (June 16th)
Persian Lime, Tahitian Lime, Calabrian Bergamot, Lemongrass Sicilian Lemon, Litsea, Nutmeg, Ginger, Turmeric, Coriander, Rose Geranium, Himalayan Cedarwood, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Benzoin, Jasmine

"If only it could be like this always--always summer, always alone, the fruit always ripe" - Evelyn Waugh

Summer Cabin makes a bold entrance with a bright and tangy lime forward citrus opening with notes of bergamot, lemon and litsea. Turmeric, ginger and coriander blend right in, giving the citrus some lift and complexity.

The citrus intensity doesn’t last long, revealing a much warmer lemongrass theme with nuances of rose geranium and nutmeg. These notes then begin to mingle with a creamy jasmine and sandalwood base, supported by spicy Himalayan cedar wood, earthy vetiver and vanilla-esque benzoin.
The scent is both in your face and yet soft and warm.

Because it’s made entirely of natural essential oils, absolutes and resins, it never becomes overpowering and remains light.

And because our soap is as soft as it is, we are able to add in our scent blend one week after cure time to avoid the harsh environment that the early stages of soap making brings which will preserve some of the more delicate elements of the scent blend.  We also scented Summer Cabin ten percent stronger than our other soaps to hopefully compensate for the lack of fragrance oils, which have much stronger projection and staying power than naturals.

RASPBERRY METHEGLIN (June 16th)
Raspberry, Raw Honeycomb, Ginger, Vanilla, Rosehip, Hibiscus, Beeswax

I draw inspiration for our scents from a lot of different things—this one comes from a mead (honey wine) that I made a few months ago. I knew the combination of flavours would translate well into a niche scent for our shave soap.

Raspberry and raw honeycomb make up the main notes, supported by ginger and a touch of florals from hibiscus, rosehip and my recently acquired beeswax absolute, all softened by a touch of vanilla.

This, like our Summer Cabin, was made by adding in the scents a week after we made the actual base—something only possible because of the softness of the soap.  I’m hoping that this will allow scents to remain more true to the original blend, but I’ll have to wait and see what you all say about that!

COAST TO COAST (July 1st)
Ginger Ale, Maple Syrup, Canadian Rye, Spice, Herbs, Citrus, Amber

This year’s version of our Canada Day release (July 1st) revolves around Ginger Ale and the most Canadian things you can mix in there: maple and rye whisky.  Ginger ale, ginger and ginger lily make up about half of the total scent blend.  The ginger is tamed by the rye which lends buttery oak, whisky and a mild spice to the blend, all sweetened with just the right amount of maple syrup that sits perfectly in the background.

I’ve added in light amounts of fir needle, labdanum, rose geranium, peppermint, anise and lemongrass.  These notes might be difficult to pick out individually, but they add to the overall depth and make for a more interesting dry down especially on the splash.

I’m announcing this soap earlier than what I normally do because of the crossover with our delayed but pending release of Summer Cabin and Raspberry Metheglin—I know there are those of you who will want all three releases and didn’t want you to find out about Coast to Coast just a few days after you made an order.  My apologies for the delay on these two scents, we had some complications with our regular supply of tallow and it couldn’t be helped!

Coast to Coast is dropping tomorrow at 11 am PST.  I've been sending out samples and the response so far has been very positive, looking forward to this release!  You can get them at our shop (Free shipping past 80 CAD or flat rate shipping of 10 CAD to USA or 15 CAD in Canada) or Stone Field and The Razor Company.  We have some going out today to both Anticatura shaving in Slovenia and to the Shave Supply in California as well.

I tried Badlands in the v4 base for the first time and holy hell was I impressed. I freaking love this scent and v4 is honestly one of the best soaps I've ever used. Cannot recommend enough.
