Underrated Soaps? Please recommend some.

Sudsy Soapery is extremely impressive for $11. My second favorite soap, and for me, only bested by PannaCrema Nuavia.
PannaCrema Pure2O is the third best of the 400 plus soaps I've tried.

+1 on PannaCrema. On par or better than Nuavia for $47 less.

Yeah, but PannaCrema soaps are not underrated...at least not in this forum.    




Heck, we even have our own version of Pure20.

Sudsy Soapery.

I have been using the Citrus & Bay and Lavender & Peppermint for quite some time quietly and it has become my number one soap.
I have not tried as many soaps as David (dfoulk), more like around 75-100 and this tops them. Up until this point my favorite soap was Phoenix & Beau, followed by OSP & Haslinger.
Underrated, or just unknown, this couple from St. Louis just won the Olympic Gold in my books.

Sudsy Soapery is pretty much just unknown. People who try it rate it up there with the very best soaps they've tried. They use a ton of butters and really high end all natural ingredients.

It's now starting to become popular on some of the other shaving forums so I suspect it's one that you'll start seeing more people start talking about.

I can honestly say, I've never heard of them.

But I'm interested given the high praise by a few of you.

Sudsy Soapery was the best soap I had used when I first shaved with it a couple of months ago.   Since then I joined a couple of soap passarounds and purchased a couple of soaps.    IMO, only Nuavia, MdC and Pure20 have been able to beat it's performance.    Keep in mind that I'm still somewhat wet behind the ears.

Most people who use Sudsy Soapery place this soap in their top 5 or top 10 list.    I have not heard anyone say, "meh, it's okay, but not great".

Their bath and shampoo bar soaps are good too.

I really wish Lee would change his tins to use either bigger tins like Mike's or plastic tubs. I don't like having globs of soap running all over the place and getting wasted because the tin is too small... heck, I think using smaller tubs like the ones used for latha would be a step up, imho.

I think this holds people back from trying the soaps, probably myself included.

I will admit I don't like the tins either (the HTGAM tin I had started to get rusty and just kind of nasty looking.).  I actually scoop some out and put it in one of my Pyrex containers.  I actually prefer these to a lot of the containers other than the glass part.  I like that Stirling still gives the option of puck or container.  I wish more did.
