Fast and extremely smooth just in my first use yesterday. This mornings shave sealed the deal. It could most likely become my favorite Timeless.

Matt (at Timeless) apparently reports that in their testing it comes in shaving wise between the .68 SB and .68 OC.

I have a .68 SB. Amazing shaver. (One of only 3 razors in the den now. One now has to go!)

I returned the .95 as I thought it was too aggressive for everyday shaves. The .68, with good technique, was the perfect safety razor. Until now.

Granted, only the second use, but the new bottom plate geometry of the BRONZE (it deserves all caps) resulted in the smoothest and closest Timeless shave I have had.

I can’t wait to get to know this model further. Traveling for work today but will post pics when home. I was going to preserve it but the ‘deep chocolate brown’ description from someone who used to trade bronze pieces sounds enticing!

I have the stainless SB .68. I've been pining for the stainless scalloped .68 but I wonder if I ought to go this route. That razor is gorgeous. Congrats on all those that obtained it.

Love the Timeless SS and own one. Tried most of the bases. Although hypersensitive skin, just can’t get the 0,68 gap to work. Sure, a 0,68OC will give a bbs but with minor irritation; whereas the SB and scalloped doesn’t quite get a bbs and more irritation. My best results are by far with the 0,95OC with virtually no irritation. Odd given patchy moderate if copper wire like facial hair. Is what it is.

OMG. This is one smooth operator here. Easily as efficient as the .68mm smooth/scallop SS/Ti heads, perhaps even the open comb.

Full report coming in a short while at Daily Lather!

It's also my favorite version of the Timeless....granted only 2 shaves in. Great write up and review.

The brand new designed Bronze base plate combined with the .38 blade gap was created to absolute perfection. Those 2 shaves so far were the smoothest and some of the closest I have ever encountered (Timor blade) in a DE or SE. I can't stop thinking about it. It might be the prettiest razor to pass through my shave den in all these years as well.

The title of this thread 'Timeless Bronze Arrived' is so true.
Timeless makes the finest razors on the market today...even taking in Wolfman for consideration.

I couldn't agree more - on all points. This thing is absolutely gorgeous. And should improve with age, if you're the type (I hope) to let it patina. As far as comparing it to Wolfman, I think they're just as good in both looks and shave and heaps better on price. I think Wolfman might get the nod on finish (but it's extremely close, if at all) and of course, number of materials. Honestly, I'd rather buy one of everything from Timeless - and still come out ahead over a Wolfman... And no waiting. Wink

I had originally intended to debut a matching brush, but alas... F*cked by USPS again. Tomorrow's another day.

Thanks for taking the time to sum up your impressions. I'm anxious to use mine. I've no experience with a Wolfman, it's good to know I'm not missing a whole lot.

I honestly like my Timeless .68SB better than my Wolfman WR1 .61SB. Its just smoother to me. I love them both but the Timeless is my absolute favorite shaving razor in the world. This bronze one looks absolutely stunning, what a piece of craftsmanship.
