Right on. How much were they?
Got them in an eBay lot. They're quite inexpensive in Japan but I find only one US distributor, with shipping they end up around $. 70/blade for 60, so not bad (cheap as Chicks).

thanks for the link. I'm going to be ordering some more blades soon for my general and hawk and was looking for something to buy alongside the feather pros.

edited to add: how many blades come in each dispenser?

I can't really believe how well this G8 is working out for me. I've used it the past few days and the shaves get better each time. Today's shave resulted in a near BBS including the chin and upper lip! I'm hoping the blades whiteboy_cannon told me about the other day improve the shaves even more...that order should be arriving any day

The WDC-8 handle is solid brass that feels wonderful in your hand.  As expected the Rossa was easy to load and lather.  Sticking with a 2 pass shave, XTG & ATG, followed by minimal touch ups ended in a near BBS.  Overall a great shave and an excellent start to the weekend.  I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

I want to thank whiteboy_cannon for PIF-ing me this great SE razor to help me learn a new way of shaving.  Its a beauty and he also included some Gem coated blades to try.  I'm still about a month or so away from shaving at all and in the mean time I'll be looking at some youtube videos on the subject.  I'll also surely be looking for advice from members of The Single Edge Gang when I do get to the point of putting blade to face.

Thanks whiteboy_cannon , I'm looking forward to giving this razor a run.

Mark, the Featherweight is a wonderful SE razor and paired with the GEM PTFE blade you should get a great shave. At least for the shape of my face, one of the things I like best about this unassuming little workhorse is that the razor angle is perfect. It just naturally angles to the side of my face. Enjoy. Smile

A very nice gesture on your part, whiteboy_cannon. Happy2

I got an email from Supply Provisions.

Must have been drunk that night. I ordered a batch 2 when I tried one in the spring. I hope it works out this time.

I've got a lot of injector blades and haven't used one in a while.

A nice shave did brighten the otherwise rainy dreary morning.  After making sure the brush was properly loaded, I face lathered slowly hydrating the soap as I went.  The soft massage of the brush and the scent of Rossa made face lathering all the more enjoyable.  After 2 passes, XTG & ATG, followed by some touch ups, I ended up with a near BBS.  There is one spot on my lower right neck that usually gets me.  Overall a great shave.  I hope everyone has a fantastic Sunday.
