Great so far, I prefer it with a heavier handle. I have 4 shaves on a Kai Capt mild,  #5 will be tonight.

After trying several of the GEMs (1912, Featherweight, Clog Pruf, MMOC), I'm finding the Schick injectors to be much more suitable to my current skill/technique level. Because of that, I've been keeping my eye out for various injectors...especially the Schick 66 which I just like due to the blue handle and chrome/matte finish. The other day, I finally found one at at a reasonable price and it arrived yesterday.

I also received a Schick G8 (at least, I'm pretty certain it's a G8). Used the G8 this morning and got a fantastic shave. I took it slow and used very light pressure...ended up with a near BBS. Although I've been trying to find the "66" for awhile, I wanted to wait until my new injector blades arrived before using it. I've been using the Ted Pellas and wanted to at least try other injector blades. Gotta love the anticipation of having the razor but not using it Smile

Nice! That blue handled one is sweet. I can see why you were searching for one. I don't know if you've tried the store bought Schick blades (Chicks), but I find them to be better than the Personnas which I think is what the Ted Pellas are. They're a bit more expensive though.

Thanks wyze0ne ! Are the Chicks the ones which come in the yellow packaging? That's what I have on the way.

Those are the ones. They are great blades IMO. I can't get a good shave with the personna blades

So far I've gotten decent shaves with the personnas. But, honestly at this point, I think it's a matter of me just simply not knowing what I'm missing. So hopefully my experience will be similar to yours and i will have found a way to "notch up" my shaves Smile

The chicks are very sharp and smooth. I think you'll like them. If you do, there is a deal on Amazon right now. 4 packs for $20 which is a steal compared to the usual 7-8 dollars per pack
