The handle on the Mamba is a new and unique designed, CNC turned out of 316L stainless steel rod and comes with a hidden element of adjust-ability.
I wonder if the bottom cap maybe comes off thus shorting the handle or maybe it can be dialed out to increase length?
Having some experience as a machinist, I can envision at least a couple of ways that handle could have been designed so that the bottom section could be extended via the end cap, without actually removing the end cap.
It could also be that the end cap simply screws off and replaceable endcaps of various lengths and/or weights are planned.
There are also some ways that twisting the endcap could be made to adjust the balance fore and aft inside the handle, but this is more complicated, so probably less likely. Would be cool though to be able to dial the balance point of the razor to just where you like it.
Will be interesting to see what the Mamba is hiding in her tail.

It's a very nice shaver, I think the performance might be right up your alley.
Well, i hope you are correct, but it won't be a disappointment if it isn't as I am quite happy with the shavers that I already own.

To all that wonder about the razor:
1. It should arrive in a 3-4+ weeks, in my eyes that's good news because there will be plenty Mambas for those that wont have 2nd thoughts purchasing the razor, so most likely the razor will be available for purchase for a good day because there will be big numbers coming in.
2. Price will be $60, great news.

Has all this been confirmed by RR?

I am very thrilled with the BlackBird, I know exactly what you mean
Let's just see if the price is right and if it's available, but in any case, won't be that sad too.

Have you been all to try the new version?
Thanks

I have the older model which works well for me. The new finish intrigued me however.
