Let me know your thoughts on a 24k 2 tone version... I just made these...

Regards,
Luke

I like the Enoch where the handle has gold only in the background but the raised part is left stainless steel. It really adds something to the looks of the razor, kind of a distressed industrial look. The Hiram, I'm not so sure. Too much gold and not enough contrast makes it look cheesy.

Are we able to order the 3 dot plate by itself to make the Hiram more aggressive if needed?
Thanks,
George

Hi Luke,

Can I use the plates from the original Occam?

Thanks.

FWIW, perhaps I should have mentioned that I jumped on the train yesterday.  I'm guessing Enoch and Hiram will be on their way shortly.

Hey Luke (aka tgn),

After ordering over the weekend, my Enoch made it all the way from Idaho to Virginia by lunchtime today - commendably quickly.  Thank you

I noticed that the blade exposure is negative, even with a Feather Super.  I double checked to make sure that after tightening, the back of the bottom plate was snug against the top plate on both sides.  I just want to check that a negative exposure is normal and that I'm not loading it incorrectly.

Please let me know, and thank you.

Coming late to the party and playing catch-up, I've read through a lot of threads on this and another forum.  Finally, I ran across two posts at about the same time that put it all to together for me.  One was a post by a shaver who found "loading the blade so that it fits securely on the retaining lugs to be a real fiddle", and the other was a reference to a youtube video on how to load the Enoch.  I was missing the nubs.

Color me embarrassed, but hey, I'm a happy camper now.

Hello. My first Enoch was badly bent. Classic Shaving sent me base blate and now it's good but now it's loose and rattle when shaken. Is it ok?
