Shave #2 just as good if not better than the first with the Enoch. The Feather Pro blade can feel a bit harsh like on its first to second shave. None of that with the Enoch as it really just feels comfortable and gives direct feedback on exactly what the blade & razor are doing in unison. Almost Cobra like on how it takes down the whiskers. Very impressive so far....

Hope you are all doing well.  I am at the shop rocking out more HIRAM and ENOCH razors.  Everyone should be boxed and shipped tomorrow (well USPS will send them Thursday).  Here is a livestream video I just did on polishing and brushing them.  There is also a bonus Shop & Office tour at the end along with a bit of Information on the new Grim Blades knives...

enjoy:

This is great to see. Nice work.
Now I'm more excited about receiving my Hiram; for which a shipping notification was sent a couple of days ago. Also, I now know that it's pronounced as 'High'-'Rum' rather than 'He' or 'Here'-Ram. lol
I have another razor that I really like but it's polished and I can't stand the polished look on a razor. So I'll be taking notes from the video. Smile

Shave #3

Super smooth with the Schick was the Enoch. Had to take a quick looksy to make sure I installed one. But, still removed the whiskers effectively without a single issue. BBS in a glorious 3 passes with no buffing required. A real good shave truth be told. The Enoch has been a wonderful surprise so far. A great evening and shaves to all...

Enoch Shave #1!!

Finally... Both my Enoch and Occams DE arrived today. I held off shaving for 2 days for this. Initial impressions on opening the box are favorable but mine definitely has some tooling marks as well as a little rubbing compound maybe on the underside which I removed. Me being me, I'll probably work on it a little bit making it a little nicer / smoother. The pieces do fit well together however.

I received a pack of titan mild guard blades when I bought a Feather AC razor as a gift for a friend and thought I'd give one a try in the Enoch for its maiden voyage. I hadn't noticed anyone try a guard blade yet so I figured why not.

Three days of growth were no match. Considering it's efficiency despite my stiff and thick beard, I had a very smooth and comfortable shave that left me perfectly clean shaven with no irritation whatsoever. Plus, I had no alum feedback at all. That's absolutely incredible for me. I need more shaves but I'm really impressed so far. Now I need to get a few schick prolines to try out.

Now that was a feisty shave! Not intimidating but, I had to pay more attention and stay in tuned with the shave using the Enoch and Feather Pro Super combination. A wonderful 2 pass and slight touch up shave. Smooth, smooth finish that was nic and cut free. Just the tiniest bit of irritation on the chin and Sir Adam’s area from the touch ups. Gone though after the splash and a few minutes. Fabulous shave, period. Blade feel is certainly amped up in the Enoch with the Super but, still a comfortable shave as long as presence of mind is used knowing that the Super is a more aggressive blade with a bit more blade exposure. The Enoch works with any blade you throw at it and does it extremely well with each one. If you don’t have a Classic Cobra or King and want to experience what it would be like to shave with either one of those razors, the Enoch gets you pretty darn close to that experience. I have no reserves in recommending this razor to any wet shaving enthusiasts that desires to step into the Artist Club SE razor format. It delivers on all fronts on construction, quality and shave performance. A wonderful day and great shaves to all...

I have certainly had a lazy morning sleeping in and a leisurely walk with Mocha.  At lease I got the shower and shave in before noon.  This is my 7th shave with the Enoch and Feather Pro.  Another excellent 3 pass shave.  After touch ups along my jaw line and buffing my lower right neck, I ended up with a drama free BBS shave.  A splash of the matching aftershave left me smooth and smelling good.  After 7 shaves I will compare it with some of the other AC razors I have used.  The Enoch holds the blade firmly without any play, unlike the OREN.  As such I find the Enoch a less forgiving of poor technique.  However, the head is much smaller and nimble.  I have found the Enoch to be very smooth and efficient when using a Feather Pro blade.  In my mind, the real comparison for the Enoch is the Cobra Classic or King Cobra.  The shaves between them are very very similar.  Loading a blade is much easier.  Given that the Cobra is for all practical purpose unobtainable, the Enoch is a real alternative.  I will dial things up next week and load a Feather Pro Super blade up in the Enoch.  I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

Enoch Shave #2

Splendid, just splendid. This time with Cella almond slickness. I asked over in TSD, but could it be smoother than the SS Colonial General? I need more time to be certain. [Image: ae144012e27d5587f565c61ed3df9946.jpg]

Definitely more aggressive than the Vector and with noticeably more blade feel.  Of the SE razors I've used I'd rank them in the following order from least aggressive to most:

IB Blackhawk
Vector
ATT SE1
Hiram
Ikon El Jefe
Enoch
Mongoose
King Cobra
Cobra Classic
Asylum RX

I liked the Vector, but found it too mild.  The vector might be a little smoother than the Enoch, but the Enoch delivers a much better shave.  Although the Enoch is considerably more aggressive than the Vector I didn't find myself worried about cutting myself.  However, the last 3 on my list are able to do some damage if not carefully used.  Again, all my opinion as everyones face is different.
