Got mine today as well! Nice touch with all of the extras! I am going to put it to use tomorrow morning with a Schick Proline.

Mine arrived today as well.  It has a bent and twisted safety bar, and a loose blade vice.  With a blade inserted the vice is secure, but without a blade the vice is loose and can be rocked back and forth.  I am nonetheless going to give it a try in the morning with a fresh Feather Pro.  Then I'm going to get in touch with Classic Shaving, and see what we can work out.  I don't have a good camera or camera skills, just a 3 year old iPhone.

If you check out the most recent Enoch video (I think it's the newest one?), Luke said something about the razor being designed to have slight play when tightened up without a blade but would "cinch up" tightly when a blade was loaded. The safety bar shouldn't be bent though. I haven't received mine yet (still anxiously awaiting) but others should be able to chime in regarding the "looseness" without a blade and confirm. Anyone?

Yes I believe so I will check in the morning the status.  I know as of this afternoon we only had ~90 more remaining to ship.  I am having to do a lot of work on the HIRAM as most came scratched. So lost of buffing and some 220 belt prep.  They are really nice.  I have another 200 hundred to prep tomorrow. We should be all caught up Monday.

Thank you everyone.  I will check on international in the AM.

Regards,
Luke

Damn that is bent for sure.  I am sorry.  I will get you a replacement.  Just email us here: cs@thegroomingnetwork.com
Thank you for letting us know.  There should be a blades gap without a blade in the head.  The Guard should be straight...

Luke

Short and sweet. How did it shave? Very well thank you very much. First things first is this is not an original Occam’s or O.R.E.N razor in feel and performance. The floating blade design is now replaced by the traditional rigid and vice like hold and full support of the top and bottom plates. Does it just as good as an Rx, Vector, ATT SE1 and any other AC designed razor. The razor feels balanced along the whole length of it with a high quality look to it.

The shave itself with the Enoch was efficient in that 2 passes and some minor buffing along the chin and jawline produced A BBS result. The shave was comfortable and smooth yet, there is enough blade feel that in no way is this considered a mild razor. Actually, it’s very similar in shave feel to the Blackland Vector and shares the small head profile along with being very close in design (nearly identical) to the Asylum Rx, though nowhere near as blade forward feeling. It has design attributes of both yet still exhibits it’s own feel and performance. It has a nice balance of smoothness & efficiency and shaves equally as good as any other AC styled razor.

I’ll shave with it for a full week and see how it delivers and performs with other brands of blades. I have no doubt that it will be a consistently good performer.....

Thank you for the review.  Yes the Enoch is aggressive and really is the same head as the Cobra Classic.  It has a bunch more blade and angle. I personally have to be careful with that razor or I bleed.  I go really fast and forget to respect the blade exposure.

I hope you all like it. I know if you prefer a mild shave like me or Mantic you will most likely not have the Enoch as your go-to. But since Classic has been missing an aggressive affordable SE we made the Enoch.

Have a great Sunday Folks :-)

Regards,
Luke

Took the Enoch out for its maiden voyage this morning. I do not have a Vector or Asylum so I’ll compare it to my Cobra Classic. As Gus mentioned there is enough blade feel that most would not consider this a mild razor. I liken it to a Cobra Classic + in terms of blade feel and aggressiveness. However with a Feather Pro I found the shave to be very smooth and efficient. The angle was very easy to find and maintain. I am really impressed with the Enoch.
