Whether Stainless Steel or Titanium (It doesn't say) at nearly $800 for the razor alone, it's Ludicrous.......but someone will buy it no doubt.

$800 is bold. Looks like renderings. Any actual photos? Logo on the top cap is also unfortunate.

Their shavette style razor uses very strong magnets for the closure system, which also allows for a very slim design. By the looks of it, the stand for this DE razor is also some form of magnet.

The owner seemed upset this was leaked in my correspondence with him. We may be stealing his thunder with the reveal as it was not intended to be public. He likely had plans for the reveal.  Gian66 would you consider deleting this thread?

Deleted my post, without thinking. That's not going to help. Lol. Either Gian66 or an admin has to delete the whole thread.

Personally, I'd be inclined to help him. Though, I'd add that he should only be upset with himself. No one here is his website developer... I don't think? Just my 2¢...

Eh. I wouldn’t suggest admin intervention. I wouldn’t even care if it stayed up. Just feel for the guy he probably worked a long time only to lose control how it’s revealed. Look how into his reveal Shane is with the osprey adjustable. Definitely fault of the developer

HI! I wrote to Manuel yesterday, he replied saying that he would soon give me more information regarding the razor.
The news must have gotten out of hand unintentionally, but I don't see the problem.
Today I asked if it was his wish to close the thread.

The Tedalus Essence was manufactured in China and assembled in Switzerland. Very high quality but I know that might affect some perceptions about the price if this DE is also Chinese made. Perhaps it shouldn’t. These pics, if the actual razor matches them, look superb - Rocnel-like in solidity and finish. It does look very interesting. Would need to shave extremely well for such a price too, of course.
