Shavemd thank you for a great review. Have you managed to compare the Muramasa to the Pearl and Homelike adjustables yet?

That is my plan over the next week. I would like to do them side by side.

I like reading that this leans mild (my wallet is less enthusiastic, however). Once/if we reach post-hype, and if they get to the point of in-stock, ready to ship sales, I'll likely get one of these even though I am experiencing a Ti fetish lately.

Living on the edge
What a clever piece of design! I wouldn't mind taking a serious look at this once reviews start trickling in.
Have already registered.

Mine just hit the States. I should have it and the new Taiga titanium by Wednesday. Can’t wait to give this one a go on setting 5. I have to admit, it has some stiff competition in my shave den so we shall see. I have been reading and watching all the written and video reviews and I love the adjustment mechanism. Definitely revolutionary. Already sent them an email asking if they would consider a longer handle. That’s seems to be the easiest thing to make out of every part of the razor since it comes off by I unscrewing it.

I wish they would consider doing one with higher aggression settings. As it stands, I love the way this looks but will never be able to justify buying one as it stands.

I had same concern, but it didn't stop me buying it last week.
I just like new adjustable mechanism, really wonder whether I can shim it easier.
Looking forward to try. Hope will receive it soon.

I was thinking that it may too mild for me but I love the adjustment so had to order one.

I’m not really sure what most people could want more than setting 5. It’s comfortable and efficient to me. Two passes with it would suffice; 3 if your beard hairs run in all directions.

Most people might do a 5-3-2 setup for 3 passes. This works well for me. I really like 2 for cleanup, even though the blade exposure is negative.

I wanna try, maybe you are right. But It is sometimes hard to clean under jaw line with Nodachi, even I soften my beard a lot.
And when I have longer growth, Nodachi requires many passes to clean my face. I like adjustables have higher setting when I need.
