I do hope so. I'm just afraid that it will shift while shaving and that my friend would be a nasty cut.

Apparently the issue is I'm the key wedges the jaws open a bit too much and caused the second blade to wedge in.

I guess this is an issue with the CNC milled bottom jaw. Wonder of a local machine shop will be able to trimmed off the extra material....

My concern is wiggle of the blade...especially over time.

I think that would be a function of the spring loaded set screw. Definitely a point of failure if I was to point to one.

I think that the blade ejection option is something that will be there regardless of the model. I think it was just something they stumbled across trying to figure out a way to spin a defect.

I'm a backer and I'm in for of the full set of base plates, and travel pouch. I already let them know that I'm passing on this model.

Better let them know if you don't want the defective model ASAP, because I did not hear them make an offer for backers to take this one now and exchange or get a second one if you're not happy. Don't get stuck with it if you think that there might be a chance that you won't be happy with it.

Not happy about waiting, but they said that they can fix the problem so I'll wait.

I do however think it will dramatically affect the resale value of these if there are defective ones out there.

Live and learn.  I'm taking the dud because honestly, I don't want to deal with it any further.  No more Kickstarters for me.

Sigh... Though I have an amazing experience with the Rockwell 6s, this is why I opted not to back the Model T. After all I came too late to the party and its already $90 bucks anyway so I decided to just go for the finished product.

I'm using a shipping forwarder and it would really suck to have to pay my shipping forwarder twice because of a defective first run.

I'll be honest, I ended up requesting a refund a week or two ago. I got tired of the wait and I think I'm going in a different direction razor wise so I didn't want to have the $80 tied up. I will say though that SupplyProvisionCo sent me a refund within a day of me requesting one.

All that said though, I'm not sure it's a good idea to ship out a product with a known defect...to me, it's better to get it right the first time. to each their own, I suppose.

Just so you guys understand...

"Thanks for trying to be clear. I'm sorry that I didn't make sense in the video.

Unfortunately, we're not able to offer an exchange if you decide to go ahead with the first batch. I wish we could, but it's just not feasible to make that offer. To be frank, we've already spent almost 2X our Kickstarter funds. Offering to send replacement units across the board would surely seal our company's fate - in a really bad way."

Don't expect to get a second one if you aren't happy with the first one.

To seal the company's fate is an understatement I'm afraid so.  In the age of the Internet, a bad reputation spreads as fast as a wildfire.  This is definitely a bad move!
