They should just write it off as a product loss, take their lumps up front and send only the perfect razors as originally promised. Just look at the fiasco with the Rockwell 6 and 6S.

Either start the company off on the right foot or be prepared for an uphill battle all the way. BST for these things will be $0. Nobody will want the risk of getting a defective one since there will be so many out there.

Other people who may not be actively checking the updates either because life has been hectic or they are away on vacations will unfortunately get a defective one in the mail. Then are they stuck with it?

Didn't they post this just a couple of days ago "We want perfection". What happened over the last 2 days? Standards of perfection seem to have slipped.

If Im in their shoes I would have ask Roskwell for an advice, I Know Rockwell will say don't do it dude, you will waste lots of money on shipping, do it once and do it right! the customers will wait for you and the defective models you can sell them for much less just to come out even.

Hey folks,

Everyone take a deep breath and take a look at the video (and Kickstarter update in the link below).

Just shoot me an email if you don't want the "defective" version. It's really that simple. I'll send you a razor from our next batch.

Personally, I think it's a nice feature, and many others do too. But I understand if you don't, so that's why I've given you the option to wait.

Shoot me an email and I'll take care of you. Patrick@getsupply.com. That's the bottom line.

Hello Patrick SupplyProvisionCo ,
I am a backer of your new razor and definitely do not want one from the first batch. I have emailed you stating this. I really hope you can get this worked out as you only get one shot at a launch.
Best of luck, and I am really hoping that batch two turns out well.

You just lost me as a customer. I'm not willing to wait any longer, and you're going to ship defective products? Can you refund kickstarter funds? You just got a really sweet loan, with zero interest from all of the people that would also cancel.

Well Donner you know its Kickstarter after all, I'm sure you have heard of fundings there don't reach any production, at least the guy is trying to make it right and allow either you wait for the correct version, or get the first version and shave with it until he sends you the 2nd AKA proper version...

I have never shaved with any type of SE razor and if Supply Provision decides to sell the faulty ones at good discount I wouldn't mind buying the one with the 3 plates just for the sake of to try SE razor, I don't care if I cant slide in the blades I can always do it manually....

So to Supply Provision if you don't mind giving good discount for faulty ones, some of us might be up for buying one if price is right Smile

I'm not sure if we interpret the message the same way. To me it sounds like you have to let them know now that you don't want it and then you wait and hope for a better result the next time. If you don't tell them now then they send you the defective one and you're stuck with it.

I thought that this was already the second batch because the base plates from the first batch were not right. Not sure if I have any faith that they will ever get it right.

I honestly don't understand how anybody would think a defect on the razor is a "cool" feature.  That's insane!  This is definitely the ladt Kickstarter campaign I will ever support.  Nothing personal, but it is disappointing and, after all, this is business.

I can spend my money in better ways and that's "my" bottom line.

I just watch the video again. In the video you clearly state that you were not happy, it was not how you designed the razor. So how can you say that you think is cool? I feel really stupid at this point!
