Hey now, easy!

You may get some of the good things, or not enough, or too much!

I like to joke around, but I do slow down at work.

But you gotta have humor. Over the years, I have noted that I am the poop guy. Case in point, I had a long and mostly serious discussion with a guy my age regarding his bowel habits. He has been "loose" lately and wanted my advice. Good times!

Hey Dave, help me out.  WSC?  --  Thx.

Razor: ATT X1 SE Slant
Brush: Elite Razor 28mm 3-band
Soap: Palmolive Cream
Aftershave: Fine - Green Vetiver
Blade: Feather Pro

Great shave this afternoon. It’s insane how awesome Palmolive is. Busted out a 3-band since it’s been a while. All my Elite brushes are a joy to use.

Was able to finish 2 handles today and I’m very pleased with how they turned out. You can see all the pics in my Etsy shop, but here’s a couple quick ones:

Razor: Rex Envoy
Brush: Elite 28mm
Soap: A&E Cannabliss Santal
Aftershave: Williams Aqua Velva (Spanish)
Blade: Feather

Enjoyable, close shave today! The Rex is quickly becoming one of my favorite razors. Something just makes this thing special. I highly recommend it. It’s a solid medium-aggressive razor… and very efficient/smooth!

I was going to try to snag a Rex Ambassador, but the more I think about it, the Envoy is perfect. If I had an Ambassador, I’d just leave it at the Envoy setting (3?) all the time.

On the software front, the scent of Cannabliss Santal is polarizing. So well done. Of course the performance is top-tier too.

Hope everyone’s having a great Monday!

On the ambassador pass around I didn't really care for it it felt rough. I don't know if it was one of the ones that had issues or not at that time. When I use the envoy I found it to be a great razor but certainly not the ambassador on three at least the ambassador I tried. I often think about picking up and an Envoy one day maybe....... Nice shave Paul !

So do you think the Envoy was more aggressive than the Ambassador on “3”?

I don't know about more aggressive. It was efficient and much much smoother but again I don't know if that was before they fixed an issue that they had had with some of those ambassadors. I keep reading people rave about them and think that it should be revisited maybe, but it's too big of a price to do a blind by on after the experience I had. I'd have to try one before I'd be willing to buy it.
