Razor: Yates w/ H Plate and Stubby Handle
Brush: Elite - 28mm
Soap: Moon - Union
Aftershave: Trotter Handcrafts
Blade: Feather

Back to the Moon Union this morning for further "testing"! I used this a couple days ago and it rocked my socks off. Today I threw even more water at it to see if it would break-down at all. Happy to report it didn't! This soap takes a ton of water and produces an extremely dense lather... almost to a fault. My Yates was getting pretty gummed up and not rinsing out due to the lather being so crazy thick! I think some folks might take issue with this, but I thought it was kinda cool. After 4 full passes, the lather was still thick and very enjoyable. I felt like I could have rolled the lather up like a snowball and thrown it across my yard Wink Post shave feel was excellent as well. This soap is something special in my book.

I'm NOT good at taking lather pics, but I did snap a few quick, un-staged ones for your amusement. Last pic was AFTER the 4th pass

Nice report and pics. I'm one that gets annoyed if lather doesn't rinse good but usually that can be corrected with more water.

I sense a new shave sport, Lather Ball Toss! Or throw at a target, like in lawn darts!

Great write up. How does the lather rinse off the face, tacky at all? I don't like tacky. Some creams I tried were tacky.

Seems to rinse off the face just fine. Post shave feel is great and you can tell this is a tallow-heavy soap!

Now I just need to figure out which Moon soap and balm to buy next! I’ll probably wait to see what Mr. HighSpeed says about Sorrento! Tobacco Flower also sounds interesting.

Razor: Rockwell 6S (plate 5) w/ ATT Handle (thanks again for the handle Dave!)
Brush: Elite w/ Shavemac 25mm D01 Knot
Soap: B&M - Eigengrau
Aftershave: Chatillon Lux - Taum Sauk
Blade: Feather

Many razors have come and gone, but the Rockwell shall never leave this den. It is hands-down the best shaver I own... not the prettiest, but it provides a perfect, comfortable shave... every single time.

The B&M Eigengrau has an awesome scent. Very unique. It definitely has a cold, wintery vibe. Sorta a light pine needle, dry/muted vanilla, wet stone thing going on. Hard to describe, but I really like it. Some of the B&M scents are truly awful in my opinion. When it comes to B&M stuff, buy samples first! I'm still miffed at 'The Full Measure of Man' set that I was tricked into buying the other day. It was marketed as a manly Tobacco scent, but in reality was a disgusting, cloying, straight-up maple syrup scent. Anyways...rant over, I like Eigengrau. Performance of the B&M Excelsior base is very good.

The Elite w/ Shavemac knot was my first 2-band! Its a great knot. Scrubby hair with soft tips!

Big fan of the Chatillon Lux - Taum Sauk splash. My wife is crazy about the scent, which to me has a gin & tonic / pine needle thing going. And TONS of menthol. My eyes are still watering!

Hey, Happy Friday! Have a good one.

I agree on the B&M scents. So far I have only managed to try the ones that are truly awful.

I've also had mixed feelings about the B&M scents. Mine ranged from quite positive to meh, but never terrible.
