Tomorrow, the bottle will be finished. Knowing I was getting to the end, I went to reorder it last month and didn't see it. However, I saw what I am assuming is its replacement, Unscented Beard & Pre-Shave Oil, so I ordered it, instead. I looked at the ingredients of both and there are substantial differences. How will this affect the way it works as a pre-shave? Do I use the Beard & Pre-Shave Oil in the same way I used the original Pre-Shave Oil? Will I notice any difference? I use only a few drops of the plain pre-shave so do I use roughly the same amount with the Beard & Pre-Shave? Will the benefits of the Beard & Pre-Shave be better than the original Pre-Shave? Thanks for any help you can give, Rod.
It will be used the exact same way. We just changed the formula last year to provide some more skin and hair benefits to the ingredients list. You should be using the same amount and applying it the same way. The old formula worked just fine, but the updated formula is a marked improvement, especially in terms of conditioning the beard.
Hi Rod. I just wanted to follow through and thank you. Today was day 2 with the Unscented Beard & Pre-Shave Oil and I have to say I actually like it better. It feels better on my skin and a bit more protective. This really is a fine step up from the original Pre-Shave Oil.
I'd also like to thank you for listening to your customers and doing the best you can for them. When I purchased the original pre-shave oil, almost a year and a half ago, I mentioned that I didn't care for the flow restrictor because it didn't, well, restrict flow. Too much oil poured out (though I was able to have more control as the product got lower in the bottle). You immediately answered my concern, recognized and owned the problem, and said as soon as the old supply was finished the restrictors would be replaced. Good to your word, I have to say the new flow restrictors are perfect for this type of product so, again, a big thank you for listening and following through.
