We've just added our new boar brush to the site for the intro price of $7.95.

Rod, that is cruel and unusual punishment.  I'm down to my last bar of bath soap and need to reorder so guess what will be thrown into the mix. Tongue

ezlovan, I not only ordered the brush and five bath soaps but ordered the brush for a friend, as well.  However, we may replace the boar knots with synthetics.  My friend is sensitive to boar and while I am not, we have both really been amazed at the synthetics coming out in the last year or so.  (I have three of yours with the Kong remaining my favorite. Smile)

On a side note, perhaps I missed it in another post but any news on a release date for the shampoo bars?

Not yet, unfortunately. The first two batches weren't perfect. They were probably just fine, but they didn't blow our socks off. That said, if you'd like to test the next batch, just let me know and I'll set you up.

Hey Rod, I love the look of the new boar brush and was curious if you had a sense of how it compared to Semogue, Omega and/or Zenith varieties. I have a slight piggy obsession and take masochistic delight in breaking in boar brushes. Thanks for any information!

ezlovan, back in March of last year, I ordered your Unscented Pre-Shave Oil and have been using it almost exclusively ever since.  Tomorrow, the bottle will be finished.  Knowing I was getting to the end, I went to reorder it last month and didn't see it.  However, I saw what I am assuming is its replacement, Unscented Beard & Pre-Shave Oil, so I ordered it, instead.  I looked at the ingredients of both and there are substantial differences.  How will this affect the way it works as a pre-shave?  Do I use the Beard & Pre-Shave Oil in the same way I used the original Pre-Shave Oil?  Will I notice any difference?  I use only a few drops of the plain pre-shave so do I use roughly the same amount with the Beard & Pre-Shave?  Will the benefits of the Beard & Pre-Shave be better than the original Pre-Shave?  Thanks for any help you can give, Rod. Smile

It will be used the exact same way. We just changed the formula last year to provide some more skin and hair benefits to the ingredients list. You should be using the same amount and applying it the same way. The old formula worked just fine, but the updated formula is a marked improvement, especially in terms of conditioning the beard.

sorry for the delayed response. I've not used a Zenith, but this breaks in far faster than both of the Semogue boars I've owned in the past. I think the handle should hold up better as well, since it's not cheap paint on wood.

Hey Rod, any chance of making an aftershave splash in the "Scots Pine Sheep" scent? Obviously you're not going to create a new product based on one request, but I love it. It's the best pine type scent I've smelled and I've been wanting one for the rotation. I just wonder if anyone else has asked about it. Thanks!

I purchased Coniferous aftershave but it is not really the same thing.
