Out of curiosity, do you find the Blackbird to have more blade feel than the Charcoal L3?
For me, I find the latter has more blade feel, but is less smooth than the former.
I have been using my Blackbird SBs with a shim and if the Stirling razor is as efficient as you are stating, then I may have to try it.
