We're only doing the mirror finish with the first batch. The matte finish won't be until later production runs. I want to focus on making the first run perfect. They will be serial numbered with batch number as well. They are coming in leather zippered travel cases with embossed logo. The mirror finish version with a single base plate will run right around $200. To get both base plates will run around and extra $40-50 (the base plates and top caps are far more expensive to machine than the handles). I'm sure I'm missing something, but I'll post updates as I have them. They are in production though, finally. So we are getting close to the end. It won't be before Christmas though, unfortunately. I'm just stoked that we're almost there.

For those that are waiting patiently or impatiently, about a week ago a little birdy on Instagram gave up a nice bit of info. According to the post, the razors should be done by the 16th of this month & the razors should be on the website before months end. This bit coming from the man himself at Stirling.

I certainly am anxiously awaiting the release of this razor with the positive reactions from those few that have tried the prototype razors. Going to be a good February it seems....

Also, a sweet looking travel case that will be included with the razor purchase.

Wonderful. Now, the true test - do I buy the first run, or wait half a year for modifications to the original design that will almost certainly be coming?

Pretty sure Rod has been careful and patient enough that it won't need further changes

To someone who has used this razor, how does it compare to the CG level 3?
