Shave of the Week Starting 10 October 2022

Parker 94r razor
Gillette Wilkinson blade
Whipped Dog Synthetic brush
Spearhead Shaving Seaforth! Spiced SS
Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
Spearhead Shaving Seaforth! A/S Tonic

Last December I had a really bad bout of Covid (at least to me it was bad) and it messed up my smeller which still hasn't recovered 100%. Some of the scents I used to love I can barely stand now. Decided to try the Seaforth! Spiced SS cuz it works great and had smelled wonderful before Covid. Now it still works great and I can deal with the scent. It's so messed up. Anyway, a fine shave was had and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks

second shave with the CC cream and again WOW it delivers a great post feel
going to for sure do some more comparisons with the CC hard and my fav SV

for me its the post feel has to be the first thing then the slickness during is second also it has to rinse clean and not have that film left behind feeling or something there feeling that some do have

Monday SOTD...

I'm putting the Razorock GC .84 aside for a bit. Its a bit too much for my skills and skin. Using the Pearl Flexi, which I'm coming to quite enjoy. I still have a Leaf and Thorn but they're not getting much use.

Shower: Stirling Honey Oatmeal Shea Butter soap (wonderful soap!)
Preshave: Wash with PAA Cube 2.0, then add another layer of PAA Cube 2.0 over the top
Soap: Stirling Haverford - love the show and the soap is awesome too!
Razor: Pearl Flexi, set on 2
Blade: Nacet, day 2
Bowl: Timeless plastic
Brush: Meggards cheapie - waiting on a new G5C brush from AP
Aftershave: Brut
Balm: Nivea Sensitive

Overall a better shave today, but have some irritation on the lower part of the back of my head, I think from all the pickups yesterday when trying to use the GC and Pearl together again. So I tried to shave over those areas as minimally as possible. I took my time as well. No nicks today. One day at a time. Had to do labs for a physical today so didn't get a workout in - and noticing that I missed it. Haven't decided whether or not to keep the GC or not. I'm still not feeling any "wow" factor from it. Thanks for reading Smile
