Freddy,

What can you lose?
A little blood, perhaps. That's all.

I was very pleasantly surprised.

Now I will check the Feather with my other Valets.

But first comes a GEM Clogpruf that just arrived and then that Rolls that I showed off.

Retirement can be very tiring - but fun.

Mickey

Abbate y la Mantia Laureato - this is a very unique soap featuring the Bay Laurel. Astringent but not medicinal, you pick up the camphorous bay with slight citrus notes and some mild spiciness. Rounded out with something like anise/fennel. Performance was solid and it offered a very pleasant shave!

The pic is great as usual, but I like reading descriptions like this.

Razor: ATT SE1
Blade: Feather Professional (1)
Brush: Tres Amigo Desert Ironwood Beehive w/Envy White
Soap: Jeeves of Hudson Street Turkish Bath
Aftershave: Lucky Tiger

Very close comfortable shave this evening. Normal three passes and a slight touch up. I noticed that the lugs that hold the blade to the head are much shorter than on my AlumiGoose, and securing the blade on the razor I received is a little tricky. I found this handle when wet was a little slippery. The head may work better with a Hempel Ti handle.

• Mystic Water Soap Lemongrass & Blue Gum (menthol)
• Stirling Soap Company synthetic 26 × 54 mm
• Gillette Slim 1966
• Dorco Prime Platinum (2)
• Alt-Innsbruck

(Tip: Some aftershave/cologne bottles, such as Alt-Innsbruck, come without a restrictor to help regulate flow. I’ve found that by dipping a straw into the desired depth, and then blocking the top of the straw, I can bring up just the needed amount to then apply as I wish.)
