An Eveready C40 was my first brush. I wish I still had it.

What blade do you use in that razor, and if it is a modern blade how do you get it to work?

Thanks in advance for your response.

Shave of the Week Starting 11/4/2024

Razor.........RazoRock Cyber Medium
Blade.........GSB
Brush........TRC Cashmere
Soap.........Kent
Post..........Osage Rub/Witch Hazel w/aloe
A/S...........Various

First go with the Cyber Medium razor and it went well. More comments later in the week but initial impression is very favorable. Love the Cashmere knots and the TRC handle is gorgeous to me. Stayed with the Kent SS cuz it's really nice and gives a great lather. So, all in all, a wonderful start to the week and my face is happy. Now go enjoy your day folks

Hello everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave this morning. Returned to Martin De Candre and their excellent "Nature" shave soap. Nice, light, soapy scent with incredible lather scent and incredible lather built with the Paladin "El Dorado" 2-Band Select Badger brush for two passes (plus touch-up) with the '58 Gillette Super Speed and I finished with a splash of Quinn's Pink Grapefruit & Orange Rind witch hazel, followed by ETHOS Grooming Essentials "Clean" Skin Food Splash.

Hope you have a great day. Smile
