SOTD-02sep16:
ATT SE1 w/ Hempel Ti Handle/ Feather AC Pro
Vie Long Silvertip Beehive
The Strop Shoppe Austin Tallow
Fine Fresh Vetiver Aftershave

SEptember continues! The ATT SE1 is an absolute pleasure to use. This razor is SO smooth, while still being very efficient with the Feather AC Pro blade, which can be a little harsh on the 1st shave(the blade, that is.)

I did continue on with the Vie Long Silvertip Beehive, because The Strop Shoppe soap is very soft and light in texture. I would really like to get back into one of my 2-Band badgers, but this soap is very good in performance and I feel that one of the 2-Bands would load WAY too much product.

I'm still hanging with the SE guys! Two days in a row!!!!! Cool

BRUSH: Fendrihan Silver Tip Badger.
SOAP: First Canadian Shave Soap Co. - Manana De Lila. Great lather.
BOWL: Yoresh Electric.
RAZOR: Schick Adjustable Injector  M3.  Set at #7. There is still one mystery sliding button.
BLADE: Schick Injector'
PASSES: 2 + touch up.
SHAVE: Excellent.

My first shave with this new old acquisition was very pleasing, indeed.

I still have not figured out all the controls.

WolfmanRazors OC WRH4 + Feather

DeLuxeShaving Deluxe 13 solid performance as always with Deluxe products. On an early fall day, this soap hits on all points. Vanilla, amber and incense create an incredible richness balanced by the sweetness of blood orange and grapefruit. Rose, jasmine and lilac [I really enjoy lilac as a floral note from my experience] round things out with subtle floral notes in a very complex and thoughtfully created scent profile.

Kevin, thanks for your comments on the DeLuxe 13 soap. Haven’t seen a lot of talk about it, but have been fascinated by it. (In part because the label is dreadfully cool.)

Razor: AlumiGoose in Black. V1.
Blade: Feather Professional (2)
Brush: Shavemac Zebra, Honeycomb 2 Band Badger
Soap: Route 66 Lavender Woods
Aftershave: Afta Skin Conditioner
Case: Badger & Blade (http://www.westcoastshaving.com)

A very good shave tonight with these products. The Shavemac brush made quick work whipping up the Lavender Woods into a great lather. I'm focusing on three passes and only three passes this month.

Prep: Lots of hot water to the face and a smearing of Prep preshave
Razor: 1940s Gillette Super Speed
Blade: Personna Platinum (Israeli Red)
Brush: Maggard Razors 24mm Purple Swirl
Lather: RazoRock Zi' Peppino
Post: Lucky Tiger then Proraso Green

A coworker of mine let me borrow his brand new, unused tub of Zi' Peppino. It has a very pleasant scent, though not strong at all. The scent strength does increase when it's lathered, but not by much. It provided a fine shave, though I was getting a lot of blade feel on the last pass. I'm not sure what was up with that.
