Brush: Rubberset 400/Cashmere
Soap: Ethos Ravello Shave Creme
AS 1: Witch Hazel
AS 2: Ethos Fresh Lime SFS

Consecutive Daily Shaves - # 1,696
Most know I'm not big on shave creams although I have a few vintage I use occassionally. I was pif'd the Ethos Ravello by dtownvino and so glad to try it. The scent is a fresh and clean scent described as fig forward. Being a Barbarian and my only comparison being Fig Newtons I just got a nice pleasant fresh clean scent. Knowing Frank, I'm sure there's some exotic fig from abroad scent in there for the more distinguished. Being predominantly a face latherer I smeared a generous portion on my face to lather up and got an easy lather and the scent really opened up in strength as compared to the sample jar. Great shave and was nice to try but I'll stick with the F Base soap and hope Frank doesn't mess any more with it

Good morning Cadre! Hope you had a pleasant evening.
A truly "lime-a-licious" shave today! Went back to CBL Soap "Fresh Lime" shave soap. Wonderful lime scent and a nice menthol kick, perfect for this hot and humid day. Excellent lather whipped up with the Semogue SOC Premium Boar brush for two passes (+ touch-up) with the Gillette Super 109 and I finished with some vintage Shulton "Old Spice Fresh Lime" after shave lotion and Clubman "Citrus Musk" EdC.
