Good morning everyone! Hope you had a pleasant evening.

Great shave today! Went back to Phoenix Shaving and their 4711 homage, "11235" shave soap. They pretty much nailed the scent. Excellent lather whipped up with the Riva Brushes Manchurian badger brush for two passes (+ touch-up) with the EJ 3ONE6 and I finished with some Muelhens "4711" after shave splash and Creed "Himalaya" EdP.

Hope you have a wonderful day. Smile

Razor: Gillette "Psyco" Tech (1952 English X1)
Blade: Gillette Platinum (d7)

Lather: Tabac Original (tallow)
Brush: AKA Brushworx Winter Shine (28mm AK7)

Post 1: P.A.A. Alum w/ No-Slip Grip System & Dry Dock System
Post 2: Dickinson's Enhanced Witch Hazel Deep Cleansing Astringent w/ Menthol & Eucalyptus
Aftershave: Tabac Original

It's been a while. It's been far too long...

What can I say? You either know or you don't. You either love Tabac Original or you don't. It's that simple.

Personally, I adore it. It's just that good. I'm talking about its lather-ability, scent, and post-shave feel. It's a classic that's stood the test of time for a reason.

I opted for my "Psyco" Tech today because I also haven't used it for a while and because I felt its character provided a nice contrast to the tamer Tabac.

Being that they were used in mental institutions and correctional facilities, the shave is a mild one. That's okay though as it's still a Gillette so it shaves beautifully well.

I did three passes with a little buffing but I cleaned up nicely and ended up with a DFS shave. No complaints here.

As I love the fragrance quite a bit I felt obligated to use the matching aftershave splash. Once done with my cold water rinse I applied some aftershave "lotion" and have been feeling happy all day.

Thanks for reading and enjoy your shaves.
