Great minds think alike apparently  What's the handle material of the razor and who made yours ? Probably Brass (I have one in brass also) but looks like Copper perhaps due to lighting.

Great minds do think alike!!!!! The Gibbs is one smooth ride. The handle is Brass and I bought it with the Gibbs and seller didn’t specify, looks high quality and love the brass steel look. Where did you get that sweet copper handle Dave. Would love to add it to the Gibbs arsenal? The scent from your shave of the day sounds amazing!!

Thanks Marius. Your Brass handle was no doubt made by the same member that made mine and others Clouds My Copper one was made by another member not often on this forum unfortunately Twhite If you can't get a hold of Tom, I'm sure Claudio could do a copper one to.

Thank you Dave. I reached out to Tom, hopefully he sees my message. Thats really cool that my brass handle was made by a great member here Clouds. That even makes the Gibbs more special. For the life of me I don’t understand why I neglected the Gibbs adjustable. Happy Shaves Dave!

It's been a while since posting here. Let's see if this works. I am shaving with my Gillette Double Ring this week. Here are the details:

Cold Water Rinse
Tabac Shaving Soap
Jayaruh #30
Gillette Double Ring
Gillette Silver Blue
CWR
Tabac AS

The Tabac Shaving Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #30 badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with Gillette Double Ring Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...
