    first, DR Harris Bay Rum (love the scent but it doesn't stay)
    second, mix of St. Johns Bay Rum and Sir Henry's Island Estate (the St. Johns is the exemplar of a traditional bay rum and when mixed with Sir Henry's it stays and, today, also mixed with Summer Break Icy Stare.  

This was a test of how a cooling agent might work with a bay rum shave.  For more details, go to the Bay Rum Bay Rum Bay Rum thread.  Didn't work out for me:  bay rum is a scent that connotes a warm aspect and the cooling Icy Stare just were at odds.  The shave, however, was just fine.

The Williams Mug Shave Soap lathered well with Jayaruh #30 badger brush. Two passes and touch ups with Gillette Double Ring Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pharoah's Dreamsicle AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Great minds think alike apparently  What's the handle material of the razor and who made yours ? Probably Brass (I have one in brass also) but looks like Copper perhaps due to lighting.

Great minds do think alike!!!!! The Gibbs is one smooth ride. The handle is Brass and I bought it with the Gibbs and seller didn’t specify, looks high quality and love the brass steel look. Where did you get that sweet copper handle Dave. Would love to add it to the Gibbs arsenal? The scent from your shave of the day sounds amazing!!
