Menthol Monday

Razor: Gillette SS 1947 NDC Wings
Blade: Gillette Silver Blue (2)
Brush: Simpsons CH1 Chubby Best Badger
Soap: Gillette Menthol Cream
Aftershave: Aqua Velva
TSD M Bomb
Bowl: Yokohama Studio (Hand Painted)
Great three pass shave this evening. The M Bomb made a tremendous difference in the cooling effect of the Gillette Menthol Cream. Silver Blue blade is a winner as everyone knows.

There are only 5 prototypes produced by a friend of mine on his drawings.

Barrister & Mann Latha Lavanda soap
RazoRock boar in olivewood
Allegheny Instruments 4/8 near wedge
Aqua Velva

I had to put this razor in new scales after breaking the 1-piece scales last week. I went ahead and cut normal scales and a beech wood wedge/spacer. With the addition of a pneumatic scroll saw, thanks to a generous neighbor that had no use for one, I have literally cut my shaping time in half...

And I am VERY happy I purchased this Latha Lavanda soap. GREAT STUFF!

It's very nice shaver, smooth. This razor is bronze.
He made a prototype of the razor at an aircraft factory, which meets the requirements in terms of accuracy.

A month ago has made one more prototype with 3 heads of different aggressiveness (engraving 1,2,3), with improved head geometry.
Aggressiveness is regulated not by GAP (аll heads 0.6мм) , regulated by width of the bottom plate, narrower plate - higher aggressiveness.
