Razor – ‘The Rock’ (Rockwell 6S - Plate 3)
Blade – Gillette Silver Blue
Brush - 'Papa Chub' (Chubby 3 Manchurian)
Soap – Phoenix and Beau Unscented
Post - Witch Hazel


Sublime... one of those shaves where everything just goes right.. 'The Rock' + GSB is just so smooth and efficient... WTG, ATG, and a touch up pass, and I'm wonderfully BBS. In fact, it was that enjoyable that I lathered up, and did another pass, just for shits and giggles..

Smooth Sunday
This was my first use of any Mike's Natural soap, and I'm impressed. The coconut scent is strong enough and the lather is easily top ten or even top five quality. I'm certainly looking for more Mike's now! I used a bowl I made in sixth grade - little did I know then that my bumpy-sided monster would become an excellent shaving bowl! The Silver Shadow made quick and thick suds with the excellent tuxedo knot. I finished up with Chiseled Face Sherlock - an aftershave that I love but ran out of, so this sample is very welcome indeed. M

BOWL: Yoresh Electric. Hot stuff.
SOAP: First Canadian Shave Co. Barber Shop Taper Fade. Excellent. Clean, gentle scent.
RAZOR: GEM Junior. Excellent. Deserves a promotion.
BLADE: GEM Carbon Steel. 3rd shave. Excellent.
PASSES: 3 + Minor touch up.
SHAVE: Another GEM gem.
AFTER SHAVE: Aqua Velva Musk. Still my favourite.
