I must say I have no idea why feathers are as popular as they are. I tried one tonight (an Upland Sandpiper wing primary, I think) in the EJ DE87 and it was the worst ever.
It did not cut at all, even with lots of pressure, so I went back to the Shaverboy Super Stainless.
Once I sorted that out, I got a BBS.
