post - warm water rinse, DSA “Pure & Natural” alum, cold water rinse

We all (me, soaps, razors, and brushes) got together for a retirement party for the Shaverboy blade. Twenty shaves, then into the blade bank with a full pension. Nobody remembered to bring a cake. 

Yet another diversion from my usual process tonight. I scooped a bit of soap out and smeared it around the bottom of the bowl as I've been doing for a while now, but this time I did not soak the brush during my prep shave. I just dunked it halfway into the water and shook it out, then dribbled in a few drops at a time as I whipped up the lather.

BBS tonight, even on the tip of my chin.
