Clint, if you have a chance — can you tell if the screw post on the Calypso razor top cap is also aluminum? (I like how on the AlumiGoose, which of course is an aluminum SE, the screw post is stainless steel, which may increase its longevity.)
I too have an V1 AlumiGoose with the SS screw so I understand the question. The Calypso screw is machined as part of the top cap. It is the same 7075 aluminum and hard anodized. I am hopeful that using 7075 aluminum and hard anodizing does give it some extra strength. However, only time will tell.
