Snow is fairly uncommon here in East Texas.  I think the last time we had measurable snow was 6 years ago.  I'm happy to see it.

On Celestino’s recommendation I recently procured a Yates Precision 921-H1 head only from a good fellow DFS member because I did not like the aesthetics of the original YP handle. I tried the head with three different handles today - BlackBird 101mm, CharcoalGoods, and RS-10. Neither handle stood out shave-wise, but visually the RS-10 looked better. The shave was absolutely delightful - no-irritation BBS after three passes and no clean up, perfect blade feedback, control and maneuverability. I must admit that I enjoyed the shave as much as I enjoy shaving with BlackBirds, though the experiences differ. If I were to compare it to a shave with a straight razor it would go as follows:

BlackBird Ti = singing full hollow,
BlackBird SS = half hollow,
Yates Precision = solid wedge

All in all, I am keeping I with great pleasure. Thank  you Celestino!

I also must mention the other two stars of the shave: the GroomingDept Mumtaz and an early Brad/Lee collab 3XL.  The three of them made my today’s shave royal!

BBS tonight, as usual, but the cherry on top (so to speak) was a haircut from SWMBO.
I had to cancel my barber appointment because New Brunswick's COVID-19 "Recovery Phase" had recently gone from Yellow to Orange for all zones. 

Today broke out the Greenfresh -- nice crisp and, yes, green and fresh.  Paired with Wolfman and Elite.
