The Wickhams soaps (UK-made) are quite expensive here in Canada (and cola is out of stock right now), but while looking for other cola scented shaving soaps, I came across Van Yulay.

Their cola is just one of over a staggering 350 fragrances to choose from for their Aquarius and Hercules lines of shaving soap ($7.99/$8.99 mentholated)! Site says they do custom blends, too. I'll keep them in mind. Might do a VY Cola+Sterling homemade blend, a DapperDragon custom, and maybe even a Van Yulay custom. I think I'll wait for my tax return to come in first, though!

Sounds like there are starting to be some real options for you. I hope that one or several of them turn out to be what you are looking for! Keep us posted if and when you have had a chance to experiment some.

Whenever I go to shave, I assume there’s someone else on the planet shaving, so I say “I’m gonna go shave, too.”

Hey folks, it's been a while, but I've finally sourced the ingredients I think I'll need.
Got the Wickham's 1912 Club Cola a month ago, and my Stirling samples arrived yesterday afternoon.

The Naked & Smooth is an unscented soap, which I plan to use as the base to which I'll knead small chunks of the scent soaps.

I'll need to find some small empty containers to put the Stirling samples in once I take them out of their wrappers, so I won't start having fun just yet, but what's another week or so, after all this time?!

I'm excited and eager to get started though!

For small empty containers for Stirling samples, dollar store Tupperware works fine and is inexpensive - I get 5 bowls with lids for a buck at my local store and just press the sample down on the bottom.

Good luck with the experiment!

I think zaclikestoshave mentioned a soap that smells like Dr. Pepper before. I can't recall what it was though...
