Nowadays with all these great artisan and non-artisan made soaps it is really hard to choose a winner..

The scent is very subtle, powdery-minty. Very light without quite reaching faint.
Probably the worst soap I've tried... Mediocre performance and almost unscented, there's no scent on that. You detect absolutely no scent during the shave and you have to try a lot to smell anything on the bowl and put your nose on the surface of the soap putting a lot of effort to smell the supposedly herbal scent. The funny fact is that it's supposed to be an ideal soap for straight razor users. In my opinion, comparing to I Coloniali's slickness is far from being slick... The lather of this soap dries out faster than any other I've tried and I've tried many the last years I'm into wet shaving. Proraso soap, especially the White one, is a far better product, slicker and cheaper.

Just my opinion!

I own 5 RazorRock and they are very nice performing soaps, but among my 125-150 soaps, they rank close to the bottom.

Not to say RazorRock soaps are bad and not slick, just so many better performers in my collection.

Mondial croaps are made by TFS, TFS also make many RazoRock soaps, and they actually perform slightly better for me, also are more slick (new formula ?) but still are they no where near the slickest in my collection.

But we are all different and have not all tried all the best (and worst) soaps out there.

My slickest soaps:

Panacrema Nuavia
Meißner Tremonia
Cold River Soap Works v2
Barrister & Mann DeLuxe
Czech & Speak
AOS Valobra Tallow
Caties Bubbles
I Coloniali
Klar Seifen
Lea Classic
MWF
Boellis Panama
Cella Brick
Tabula Rasa
Tabac
Haslinger
Antica Barbieria Colla

And Proraso Red superlather of the soap and cream will give me slickness and cushion, Nuavia will have trouble beating.

But I get really good performance and slickness from just about ANY DECENT quality soap and/or cream out there these days.

Barrister & Mann glissant base is the top of the list for slickness in my collection of soaps. I haven't tried all of them so who knows what the future may hold. I wonder if its possible to be too slick? Is there an ideal level of slickness beyond which efficiency drops off?
