Probably the final update on the last few gasps of Sir Henry's pass around.  I'll name names this time.  I picked up some of the CBL Tonsorial $1 and $2 beta pucks, how could I not at that price?  Got nothing bad to say about the soap at all, I like it.

Switched back to Sir Henry's after a few days and all be darned if the blade wasn't smoother and got a better shave.  Same blade, same razor.  This isn't the second day on a blade thing either, it's middle of the run on a Astra SP.  As before only soap that consistently does that (for me) is Tabac.  Soap I was using before the first go with Sir Henry's was Flying Mango.  Sir Henry's is top shelf goods.

So you didnt like cbl? It is one of my more favorite soaps.. Did you get roasted oatmeal stout?

First paragraph, last sentence., Nope, did not, Money and Jeris and some slivers of Fougere.

If you have spent time with a puck of Tabac you understand what I'm saying.. It is the (or a) Standard to which soaps are compared.

We’ll take that compliment. I said in this thread, or another thread somewhere along the line that Tabac was a performance inspiration for us when we started.

Using Google Translate;

I will write in Russian. I beg your pardon. The text is big. It will be difficult for me to write this in English.
Solid soap. Smell for me. Juniper medium strength, a little sandalwood in the background. Pleasant smell for me. The foam reveals itself even more and the whole process of shaving was accompanied by a pleasant smell.
He beat the foam in the bowl. Soap loves water. Beats easily. It forms a thick, creamy foam with a good shine.
The foam on the face is not high, but very dense.
Very good glide.
Due to the fact that I liked the soap, I made 4 passes, instead of the usual 3.
At the end of the shave, the face looked completely white. There was no irritation, red spots and dots. This indicates a good care of this soap. There was no tingling. The soap is completely neutral.
As a result, I got a great shave, even with 4 passes. The state of the face after shaving is at a fairly high level.
Fat soap. I do not hear any odors from the can.
I liked the soap. I want to remind . I have a lot of soaps (about 250) and there is something to compare.
