My reason for avoiding them is a jerk comment made by one of the owners in a sale thread. Still wish em all the best in their future endeavors.

Stable as anything going.  Walk off homer of a post shave.  And scents that are perfectly thought out.  They don't confuse the issue with 60 different scents.  They have no reason to reformulate every batch.  The stuff works and they offer it at a respectable price.  Good gravy these guys build top shelf performers at a working man price and their balms and splashes are as great as their soaps.
Good question Lipripper660!  Unfortunately, I don't have a good answer for you.  It seems to happen with a few other higher quality/lower cost artisan products (ie Mystic Water, Shannon's, Stirling, C&C, etc).  I've always wondered if the lack of conversation is because of perception that a lower-cost product can't perform as well as something that sells for twice as much.

Yea, that makes it tricky. Our "newbie" customers love our stuff and there is no price resistance at all to our products. We may raise prices on the Sandalwood, Black Velvet, & a yet to be named EO only based soap because these guys are our most expensive to make. HOWEVER, if we do raise the prices on them, we'll keep it modest.

Ok. Fair enough, you didn't like it. From my perspective, I was pointing out what others were thinking. Call it the Facebook effect, sometimes you see so much of someone online that you know, that you don't always like what you see. Hey, I'm the first to admit I'm not always sugar & spice. My wife will attest to that!

Thank you so much for clarifying that! Really classy! Yes, dominicr broke the B/S/T rules with a jerk comment in MY sale thread!
