Wow! That went south in a big hurry! Glad I was working through that kerfuffle and not watching the thread. I still stand behind my question of why Black Tie hasn't been more popular. Seems to me there is a bit of groundswell in the past couple of months and I would hope that continues. I will state for the record that I have never been treated more gentlemanly than I have in my dealings with Black Tie. Never going to please everyone I suppose.

[font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]Soap is good. What didn’t I like? The foam on the face dries. After the first pass, it starts to burn a little. Everything else is at a good enough level.

Probably the final update on the last few gasps of Sir Henry's pass around. I'll name names this time. I picked up some of the CBL Tonsorial $1 and $2 beta pucks, how could I not at that price? Got nothing bad to say about the soap at all, I like it.
Switched back to Sir Henry's after a few days and all be darned if the blade wasn't smoother and got a better shave. Same blade, same razor. This isn't the second day on a blade thing either, it's middle of the run on a Astra SP. As before only soap that consistently does that (for me) is Tabac. Soap I was using before the first go with Sir Henry's was Flying Mango. Sir Henry's is top shelf goods.
