I talk to Mark quite a bit and he has always been quick with replies and very pleasant to deal with. Is it strictly because i always order and so much or not I'm not sure but i have no issue with them and hopefully they can correct the issue.

It seems clear that he takes care of his best customers. The real question is how does he treat the customers who only purchase one brush? That would be more telling, if you ask me.

I totally agree with you but couldn't we say that about just any other company to be honest I've had terrible experiences with other vendors and never even got a response maybe I wasn't a customer dropping hundreds at a time and they didn't see it was worth it. In the end everyone has there opinions

I think your experience is legitimate and that's good. It's really not about peoples' opinions, but rather their experiences. Just as your experience is legit, so are those others. Too many negatives, IMO. Myself, I have 4 Simpson brushes, two of which I purchased directly from Mark. I have had neither shedding issues, nor customer service issues, but then again, I haven't needed any.

If nothing else, this thread has made up my mind to avoid Simpson brushes...

It's not justifiable when so many high quality brushes are available and supported by good, reliable customer service. When you get into that price range, it shouldn;t matter of you bought 1 brush or 20...you spent a lot of money on a product that should be superior. If the product proves to be inferior, the customer service should make up the difference. After all...you paid for it...

Just my humble opinion...

Fair enough but one thing I have been told and learned is the caring of the brushes if your not doing it properly can you really blame the manufacturers for it not saying that's the case here at all but cnt disregard that as a factor as well. That is why I have stopped buying brushes on the BST due to that factor and etc but staying on topic as always there's good and bad experiences just depends which side your on I guess

That's really a shame because if nothing else, Simpson brushes are of the highest quality. These three are magnificent. Never shed a single hair. [Image: JsWYblf.jpg]

I was under the assumption this was current, asking for help and suggestions. I had no idea this was drudging up old news or ibwould have never replied.

What was the final outcome after the brush was sent of?

Good question...tough to complain a year after the fact.

Happy

Those are all excellent looking brushes, and I am happy that you both are so pleased with them.

My point was not to say that Simpson brushes are not worth the price tag, but rather that with so many options for exceptional quality brushes at that price point, I won't take a chance on a Simpson. If I'm spending $200 or more on a brush, I do not want to have to wonder if it will be a decent brush, and even more, I don;t have to wonder if I will be taken care of should I get the rare "dud"...

That is to say...Simpson isn;t the only high end game in town...
