Steve, there is nothing to apologize for. I am actually agreeing with both Marko and you so maybe I didn't express myself clearly. The discussion that Marko, you, and others engaged in is exactly what should take place, in my opinion. I get upset when people get nasty or troll, something I have not seen here. Let the conversations continue.
Oh, I meant about mis-spelling your name lol! I've always been bad with names.
I enjoy a good discussion too, and am glad to be here gentlemen.
Cheers, Steve
This exchange is indicative of one of the shortcomings of written electronic communication - the absence of facial and verbal cues can occasionally lead to misunderstanding or misinterpretations. I always try to default to the benign interpretation rather than an offensive one and even if I'm wrong its still better to turn the other cheek. And sometimes its funny to see a troller's reaction to being "misunderstood"
sometimes it even calms them down. In any case, its all good,
Steve56 you'll see that DFS is a pretty relaxed community. We have the opportunity to interact with merchants and artisans both as fellow shavers and in a vendor-customer context too. I've seen numerous examples where artisans have responded in a helpful and informative way when a member has had a question or complaint about a product - again, when done respectfully its just common courtesy and good business to engage and resolve problems and answer concerns. I think the moderators here have done an excellent job at promoting a friendly convivial space and ensuring that those intent on mayhem are generally dissuaded from conducting their campaigns here.
