You bet. She has a gallery of some examples of completed pieces here.

The one on the bottom right is mine. Smile

Wow! She does great work.

Bringing this thread back from the grave...

I've recently been turned on to the idea of a scuttle. I don't know why or where it came from as I've always face lathered. And why now? Winter's (almost) over. They're calling for some flakes to fly this weekend...

Anyway, I was checking out Georgetown Pottery and they seem to be the best looking ones to me. churchilllafemme, is that brown/blue one in the back row of your photo the G20? I really like the glaze on that one! Very nice! Are those really big? I was thinking about getting the G12...

Yes, that is a G20. Its inner lathering bowl is nearly identical in size to that of the G12, and both work well for all except the very largest of brushes. Its only apparent advantage is its larger water reservoir, which might keep the water hot for longer if your shaving room is cold. If the room isn't cold, the G12 keeps water plenty hot for 3 passes. The G20 has a pretty large footprint on a counter (which is a factor if your counter is relatively small, as mine is), although not as big as that of the Dirty Bird 1.5. If I were forced to keep just one of my GP scuttles, I think I would choose the G12. It and my large Moss from Sara Bonnyman are my favorites.

Thanks John. Is that the Hamada/Blue glaze on your G20? It's beautiful.

Thanks, Jeff. It's Hamada & Purple. I bought it when they first introduced the G20 four years ago.

I have and use a scuttle every day, but mine is not nearly as beautiful as the ones already posted. Mine is a simple white Crown King scuttle with great little ridges in side. It works very well, holds heat very well, and makes an excellent hot lather, but the finish is very plain, comparatively.

Of course, it also costs half the price of the bigger names and artisan pieces, so there's that. I would love to get my hands on some of these gorgeous works of art, but alas, money is dedicated elsewhere, and I have what works, so I will have to stick with it.

It's not worth sharing a photo of, though. Check any of my SOTD photos I have posted...you'll see it...

there's certainly nothing wrong with sticking with whatever works for you, Chris...regardless of the price!

Eventually you'll find something but, in the meantime, enjoy what you have.  I've seen your SOTD photos, BadDad, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with what you have. Happy2

This is the Mickey Electric Lather Bowl.
I have no financial interest in it. When I retired I was determined at all costs to avoid invoices, statements, journals, ledgers and accountants.
Michal Yoresh of Modi'in Israel, a very talented ceramic artist and potter and I collaborated to develop this. I have been using it for over two years now. It will keep my lather warm as long as I keep it turned on. Michal named it after me.
There is a not too steep learning curve that I wrote for its users.
