I tried this but it still didn't reappear! I need to install more security features, ha ha!

Change in plans for my set up, as the Era nicked me good (or I used it to nick myself!). So I will use my Overlander and possibly the Yates for the long weekend. Brushes will be whatever floats my boat. The soap will be the Etho Tibu Sabuni.

Hope you all have a great weekend!

Decided that I liked the Cashmere knot better in the Fluffy Industries 86S.

The razor belonged to a friend's grandfather. It was missing the top cap and Dave assisted with a cap from another NEW long comb. The handle is pretty cool and is not one I'd seen before. But the interweb shows this handle as one of many that Gillette used with the NEW razors. The case shows lots of use, but also lots of care, in that it is intact with no tears on the lining. I think my friend is so lucky to have this piece of every day life from his Grandpa!

Trotter Handcrafts Messier with 2BED knot

Overall, a very nice shave, with the slight blade feel of most Gillettes and those exposed blade tabs waiting to get me if I don't pay attention!

Hey Eric,

By any chance is the handle thinner than you were expecting.  Perhaps about 9.5mm +/- a bit?  If so, it might be from an Otto Roth Long Comb.  If not, you still have a very nice piece  of your friend's grandpa's history.  And in any case, Kudos to brother Dave in KY.

Hi Mike!

No, the handle is the same "thicker" size as the common bar handle, but has that smooth section at the top, underneath the baseplate.
Edit: I tried to find a picture of the NEW Paul gave me, but I am at work and can't access all my photos! And this handle, in the photo, has some weight to it, too.
