The Beginning of the End!  Confused

HoosierShave, do I buy another now or wait?!!

(I'm in a self-imposed restraint and truth be told, this will probably make it the rest of the year in rotation unless I use it exclusively, which is tempting!)

Unless you know it's going away, I'd hold off. I'd imagine you could easily email them to double check. Not likely, as they'd basically have to go out of business. Unscented can be made just by not adding... Scents. Lol.

Also, unless you made some changes since I last recall, you have plenty other soaps to use (including your favorite, MW). Hold strong, you got this!

A near perfect shave this morning! I would say, thankfully, that nearly every shave these days is a good one. But it still seems rare to have one without even the slightest sting, tingle, or irritation. But today was one of those days with a buttery smooth, yet very efficient shave, and that feeling of being cool and refreshed after rinsing off any lather. No sting anywhere and my face feeling wonderfully smooth and not tight or dry from all that lathering! And that is where the near miss occurred, I dipped the tips of the brush at the beginning of the last pass too far and made my lather runny. Still slick enough for a smooth ATG pass, but not as creamy as it was earlier.

But I'll take it.  Cool

Just realized that I left out the details!

That might be the beginning but there looks to be dozens of shaves left in there. Unless it’s a favourite that’s going to be discontinued soon or it comes on sale I’d hold off. Or not!

Yeah, I'll be holding off. I have a drawer full of soaps, and while this is a favorite, so are the others, ha ha!

Starting the week with a new set up.

HCS Gibbs replica
New Wizamet blade today
Ethos Clean
Brushes will be badgers through 31 January, then switch to synthetics. I have been using natural fiber brushes since DecemBoar, so it's time to give the synthetics a chance to shine again!

Above is a 20mm Shave Forge silvertip in an Ever Ready H40 handle.

At this point, it's time to start looking for good deals (25-30% off)...there's more than enough soap to hold off til you find that deal Smile

Beautiful shave this morning with 2 razors. The one shown did the first pass, with a Wizamet blade moved over from the Gibbs replica. The last 2 passes were done with the polished Yates 921-M. The brush is a restored handle by Freddiep318ti with an APSCo 22mm Made in Germany (MiG) synthetic knot. Once I got it to splay some, it was a great latherer!
