No apologies needed, Paul! I know you were poking good-natured fun at me! And I thought I used if 55% of the time, but it was 55 out of 365 days, lol!

I think it is reflecting the counter, but I can see it in many pictures and not in real life. As much as I love the nickel look, some days I think I should have gone for the gold! I will try to take some pictures on white paper and see what that shows.

Seriously, Paul, you are good, one of the best! Unless you cussed me out, I'd not be offended by anything you post!

Just kidding. Tapatalk is malfunctioning today. Have to use the web interface. Usually don't get to see these signatures. Very entertaining to see them all after so long.   Big Grin

I should really add my own. Then I can surprise myself every now and then, when Tapatalk inevitably does this again. It is absolutely the worst forum software on Android (unfortunately, it's also the only, lol).

You are correct, Paul! I can't believe it. I must hang my head in shame, and remove myself from the Order. But still, it was the most used for 2022 according to my notes.
Eric will always be the Overlander Overlord to me Big Grin

Yes! I like that title better... Overlander Overlord. I feel like it needs a spiked helmet and a tower shield. Lol.

Here are some photos of the Overlander handle. To my eyes, it is a flat silver color. But I had to take 3 snaps before I had a photo that shows what I see. Don't know what to make of that.

Yeah, that looks well intact (the nickel coating). I'm sure the difficulty is the same as the original photo. Most lightbulbs are somewhere in the yellow range. Unless you've gone with the super cool (spectrum) bulbs, it's going to be an uphill battle to see the real tones. Then, on top of that, you have the phones processing... We all know that has a mind of its own.

I didn't want you to fight just to get a snapshot of the true color. Your confirmation was all I was asking for. Lol.

Always going that extra mile Eric. Thanks!

Recently I set some badger knots into cleaned out Ever Ready handles. One handle, the 100T, has a collar that prevents the knot from being set past a certain point. Well, for 20mm knots, that is.

This meant a higher loft and more splay, which seemed a bit much when I used it a couple of times recently. Then I remembered about using elastics (rubber bands to us midwesterners!) or hair bands and I bought some. Clerk probably thought I was going to trying making one of those ridiculous looking tiny manny tails!

After use and drying out a bit, this is the "bloom" that was left:

Misson accomplished!

This was the bloom without the band, from an earlier shave:

We don’t abide cussing on DFS. Seriously, I knew Paul was just good natured ribbing. But I just couldn’t resist trying to get a school yard fight going! Meet you at the bike racks after school…

Eric, you can never go wrong with gold, because, well, because it’s gold. Smile

A fantastic Saturday shave. The star this past week has been the soap, an unscented offering from Denton Majik.

The lather is easy, creamy, and slick. I am putting it up there with PAA's CK-6 formula and MacDuff's, wonderful stuff!
