Today the pre-War Tech did the duty of whisker whacking. When I use this razor, I find myself saying, “Dang, why’d I go so long between uses?!”

Here are Gillette’s reasons why this razor is so phenomenal for so many.

Thanks, Mike. Yes, everything went well. We have been doing this weekly for months now. The great news is that she is doing better at this point than before! Last time, she got to 8 months of treatment before insurance pulled the plug. We had several months of battle and did finally win back coverage. But all the gains she had made were lost. The specialists said it would all come back so we were hopeful. What we didn't expect is that she got back to where she had been sooner than the time it took before! So we are both excited. In fact, she is doing well enough that she made reservations for our anniversary in a fancy (read pricey, not dressy!) restaurant in Portland (Maine, not out by Paul T!!). She hasn't felt well enough to eat in a sit down place for almost 2 years. Very excited here and hoping she continues to improve. The downside to the treatment is 5-6 hours hooked up to an IV every week and flu-like side effects on Tuesday. But for the gains, we deem it worth it. She was becoming more and more dependent on others for the "activities of daily living" but now needs only minimal help.

Tougher day today, as we have an office visit to get to today, whereas she usually just rests today. So that will be our Tuesday challenge.

Another great shave from the NEW long comb. I still can't believe I don't mind the teeth on this comb, but they are sooo smoooth!

Awesome! I’ve been using this knot in my own personal handles and it just gets better the more you use it.

Ground Hog Day'd the set up from yesterday:

Gillette NEW long comb
Personna CC (5)
Samish Dusk badger
Hub City Soaps Birthday Suit

Really good with only a little irritation towards the end, but no leakage!

Whoa! Five shaves with the Comfort Coated?! I get 2 good ones then they slide from there. By time I reach 5, it feels like I'm shaving with a piece of foam.

If I haven't said it yet, that's a beautiful brush. Love the color choice.

Happy Thursday Eric!

Thanks, Paul!

I am blessed/cursed with fair hair and light skin from a Scandinavian heritage. So I guess the trade off of not having bristley whiskers is a propensity for rosacea in the family!

Mid-shave shot this morning

Gillette pre-War Tech
Personna CC (6)
Still working on finishing the Hub City Birthday Suit
Samish Dusk badger

A wonderfully relaxing shave! The brush is really working well for me and this Tech does a great job being so easy to use with no irritation.
