Today is Groundhog Day! And I learned that we actually have two furry meteorologists! One is the famous guy from the movie with Bill Murray. And NYC has one?! Yup, Staten Island Chuck. Well, Punxsutawney Phil and Staten Island Chuck had differing predictions as to the length of winter. Chuck forecast an early Spring. Phil forecast six more weeks.

Mid-week switch up! I have decided to go full boar this week!

The Jayaruh brush on the left is a 26mm Maggard premium boar, and the Ever-Ready is a 24mm Maggard premium, if I remember Paul D's posts back in January. He kindly gifted it to me and again I say, Thank You very much, mrdoug! I loaded long, 60s, for this brush and it had enough for 3 passes and a little pick-up pass on the chin and 'stache. These knots are so soft already, I can only imagine what months done the road will reveal.

They are awesome knots, aren't they?!

I have the same in my Fluffy Ind brush. It was already a special handle, being such a thoughtful gift. With this knot, it is now my favorite Boar on the shelf.
