To be transparent, I have never smelled it, as I am sure my wife would seriously react to it.

Ah, Tabac. To say I love it is like saying I love air.

There are days, not often but they happen enough, when I really wish I could experience some of these scented shave soaps. So many written about and I had a few I loved before we realized I was triggering sinus flare-ups. Put on an extra splash for me!

I used to sing in a church choir. I developed a condition in my throat where anyone with any scent would trigger my throat to feeling like a cat jumped down and scratched. Despite a "no scent" rule in the choir, hairspray or perfume from the congregation would trigger it. I had to stop singing, and that was a big disappointment. This shaving adventure has been ironic as I lived in a scentless product world for so long. As I no longer sing or strain the voice, I can tolerate the scents. I have gone very overboard with the quantity of scented products, to my wife's amazement. It has been quite a switch.

As it is Saturday morning, I did indeed put on enough to gag a horse. In your honor, of course Smile

My uncle was a biology teacher, and he used to say gag a maggot of a gut wagon!

Singers  - so sensitive  Big Grin   My wife sang for 26 years in a church choir as alto section leader and soloist as well as 15 years with the local opera company so I know about voice issues.  She had difficulty at Easter because of all the lilies in the sanctuary  - the pollen or the smell who knows.  We live in a cold dry climate and that caused her issues too - she would take a teaspoon of glycerin before singing and also always had a big thermos of ginger lemon tea with honey on hand.  She may have been high maintenance but she was worth it.  I think the voice is the most difficult instrument to maintain.  You never hear someone complaining that their violin is a little scratchy today or their trumpet is hoarse.

And the Trotter Handcrafts Supernova will be sporting its new know, an AP Luxury mixed badger/boar, just like the Fluffy Industries 86S. Loved that knot so 2 more were acquired!
